Micro Systems Technologies strenghtens its US sales force

The Micro Systems Technologies (MST) group, a global provider of innovative components and manufacturing services for the medical device industry has experienced strong market growth in recent years. The group's customer focused strategy and growing demand have resulted in a decision to expand the US sales force. MST is pleased to welcome Peter Putnam to the company.

Effective August 1, 2012 Peter Putnam was appointed Western Regional Account Manager for the MST group. Prior to joining MST, Peter was Director of Marketing and Sales for the Medical Products Group at Zarlink Semiconductor leading the wireless telemetry platform for active implantable medical devices. He has held sales and marketing positions in the semiconductor industry serving the medical device, mobile phone, personal computer, and consumer electronics segments. He began his career as a product engineer with National Semiconductor. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan.

Bringing a wealth of industry experience to the company, Peter will focus his sales and technical support activities on the Western United States.
